LOGLINE: An Elf is left behind by Santa to help rescue the Harper family from a lousy Christmas. The Elf and family get more than they bargained for when their father is kidnapped by bad guys determined to steal his new invention. After the kids help the Elf discover his special powers, he risks his life to save their father. And along the way, he discovers his true destiny as a budding superhero: Elf-Man!

In December I also worked as a Camera Operator on the last few segments for the latest season of "Cupcake Wars." "Cupcake Wars" is a Super Delicious LLC production for the Food Network. I have worked on the show as one of their East Coast segment camera operators for all of their seasons .

In December I also worked as the Gaffer/ 2nd Camera again for DP Jamie Sides on some commercials for "Booz Allen Hamiliton". These were all shot in Maryland and Virgina. The production company was "Big House Digital."

In December I spent most of my days with the Director (Steve Rubac) and the DP (Nate Pesce) on set filming the final scenes for Steve Rubac's science fiction/fantasy feature named "Grifter Logan." I'm working on the film as the Camera op/Lighting Designer/Gaffer. The Director has allowed me to show some more of the behind the scenes photos. (Trailer will be up shortly)

Grifter logan
In October I worked with the Director (Steve Rubac) and the DP (Nate Pesce) on preproduction for the final scenes for Steve Rubac's science fiction/fantasy feature named "Grifter Logan." I'm working on the film as the Camera op/Lighting Designer/Gaffer. This feature film is very close to having the principal photography completed. The Director has allowed me to put up some of the portraits and behind the scenes photos I have taken while working on the movie. (Trailer will be up shortly)

wilson extrme
"Wilson"
In the beginning of September, we completed more scenes for Steve Yeager's film titled "Wilson." I worked as the Cinematographer/Camera operator on this period piece. The film is about a young WWII GI and his life changing experiences in Germany after the war. (I'm not allowed to give much more information but will have a trailer up when it is available.)
After working on the film "Wilson" I worked for a few days on an Episode of Extreme Makeover as their First Assistant Camera. The project went smooth and you can look forward to seeing it when it airs.

I Lighting Landscape Lights
In late September I was hired as a DP/Editor/Camera op by Lee Barawick. Lee is the owner of Design Works Co, a media company in the MD area. Lee contacted me to help shoot a new "Instructional Video" for their client's company "I-Lighting". The I-Lighting company sells Outdoor Lighting System and Indoor Lighting System kits for indoor staircases, outdoor stairways, deck railings and posts.

In August I also worked as a Camera operator on an episode of "Masters of the MIx." The show is a DJ competition show and this is the 2nd season for this Reality/Competition show, on the BET network. Check their website for updates on when the second season will air.

NAGY 1
I worked as the Cinematographer for several Mattress Warehouse commercials this year. They were directed by Joe Nagy and produced by Matt Nagy of "Nagy Films." These were all shot with the RED ONE camera. They were the first few projects that I shot with the RED's new MX sensor . The Dynamic Range in this camera is incredible. Here are two of the Mattress Warehouse spots.
Special thanks to my Gaffer (Don Aros) and my AC (John Vallon) for helping all of these come together.

"Cupcake Wars" Commercial

In May and June I worked as a camera operator for the Food Network's show, "CupCake Wars." I have worked on the show as one of their East Coast segment camera operators now for three seasons. This time around I traveled to D.C., NYC, Albany, Baltimore and Philadelphia. Looks like another great season is about to begin In late June!

I was the Cinematographer for two low budget music videos for the aritst "Copywrite" who is on the Man Bites Dog label. These were shot with the Canon 7D. The tracks were off of his new Album, "The Life and Times of Peter Nelson." The Videos were Directed by RML. After the quick Black/White backdrop shoot I also shot photos for the artist Empulse, who is on the label as well. The Videos are live to the public now online.

Logan (Now available on DVD)
The Feature Film "Logan" in 2010 is now available on DVD after it's run in select theatres. Cinematography by yours truly, and directed by Kyle Lawrence. The film was shot on the RED camera in St. Louis, MO.

My first low budget horror film that I was the Cinematographer for is now available on Netflix. It was shot in Idlewild, CA in 2008. The film was directed, written, and produced by Carl Lindbergh and Anoc Productions. The film's distributing company is Osirus Entertainment.
